Autumn is approaching us. Experts say an Autumn clean means “a healthier” Winter! We’re all familiar with a spring clean but what about an Autumn clean? with a drop in temperature, the heating is on fabrics such as blinds and curtains can be good collectors of germs.
Here are a few simple steps to help to increase your chances of a healthier Winter.
The Bedroom: Keep bedding clean and wash at least once every two weeks. Everyone expels 200ml in sweat and sheds hundreds of dead skin cells every night and dust mites can live in their thousands in unwashed bedding. So, keep bedding clean and regularly change.
Allow air to circulate as much as possible to avoid stale air throughout the home. Use a dehumidifier to dry clothes instead of radiators. This offsets moisture particles and helps decrease the spread of germs.
Prevent winter bugs by giving surfaces a good wipe down with anti-bacterial sprays. We love Method antibacterial spray. Not only does it smell good, but it does an even better job in shifting dirt too!
Empty and sanitise bins especially if there are dirty tissues in there helps to reduce bugs being spread.
Try these simple steps and make your winter healthier 🙂
